How to use GSC Opportunity Finder

Paste or upload a Search Console table export to find near-page-one and high-impression rows worth reviewing, without uploading the CSV to a server.

Useful for

  • Prioritize queries already ranking around positions 4–20.
  • Find high-impression pages or queries that are producing relatively few clicks.
  • Turn a large Search Console export into a short review queue for title, intent, content, and internal-link work.

Three quick steps

  1. Export a Queries or Pages table from Search Console as CSV, then paste or upload it.
  2. Choose minimum impressions and the maximum ranking position you want to review.
  3. Analyze the rows, inspect the opportunity reasons, and export the prioritized list if useful.

Example

Input

Query,Clicks,Impressions,CTR,Position html to markdown,74,12400,0.60%,7.8

Output

High-priority opportunity: strong impressions + position 4–10 + relatively low observed CTR.

Frequently asked questions

Is the opportunity score a traffic forecast?

No. It is a prioritization heuristic based on ranking position, impressions, and observed click scarcity. It does not predict future clicks or rankings.

Which Search Console exports are supported?

The parser targets standard Queries or Pages table CSV exports containing a label column plus Clicks, Impressions, CTR, and Position. It also handles common header variants and comma, tab, or semicolon delimiters.

Is my Search Console CSV uploaded?

No. File reading, parsing, scoring, filtering, and CSV export happen in your browser. The tool_complete analytics event does not include your queries, URLs, or CSV content.
